Motorking's proprietary redesigned tank allows for additional clearance between the washer reservoir and hood where impact occurs eventually leading to a cracks or a giant hole in tanks that are not "Stepped" design. With the stepped design preventing the contact, repeat tank damage is virtually eliminated. Other aftermarket tanks do not compensate for the flawed OE design and will fail in short time to due repeated hood contact. Worn out or sagging hood hinges can compound the impact issue that is eliminated with the stepped design reservoir. Save yourself time, money, and aggravation of purchasing OE or imitation tanks that do not have extra clearance built in to prevent repeated failure.
