In 1963 UK toy manufacturer Pedigree introduced SINDY, a 12" jointed vinyl fashion doll as a competitor to Mattel's popular Barbie doll. With permission from the Ideal Toy Company, Sindy was based on Ideal's 12" Tammy doll. Early Sindy dolls very closely resemble Tammy and can share clothing & shoes. See comparison pic.
DESCRIPTION

Tan felt duffle coat w/hood & 2 patch pockets
Contrasting brown top-stitching
4 torpedo-shaped faux wood toggles w/wool loops on front & 2 toggles on sleeves
