RARE Richard Bitterman Brutalist Metal Sculpture Nail Necklace "Rain Drops"

Description

This auction is for a rare and totally fabulous Richard Bitterman brutalist necklace, with a hammered metal collar and a wide grouping of soldered nails, layered, with silver tone "raindrops" and circles layered over the right side of the nails.  Extremely awesome and very unique.  This necklace was made in the early 1970's.  The piece is artist signed.  Famous sculptor, and this piece is wider and more elaborate than any necklace I could find by the same artist (who has since passed away).  The necklace measures 5 1/2" across (sculptural portion)  and the curved metal "chain" is about 12" around.  Rare and fabulous sculptural vintage necklace!
