Large Vintage PLEASANCE KIRK, English Studio BRUTALIST Modernist Organic Sterling Silver Citrine and Peridot Collar Breastplate Necklace.  The inside measurement is 17 1/2”.  The sterling silver with gemstones is about 10” long x 1 5/8” wide.  Side hook clasp.  British hallmarks.  10mm x 7mm radiant cut citrine (3.3 carats) and two 6mm x 4mm oval cut peridot gemstones (.86 carats).    It weighs 61 grams, or 2.2 ounces.  Big sculptural necklace.  Excellent condition.
About the artist:  Pleasance Kirk is an established British designer jeweler working whose natural organic designs employ sterling silver, gold and semi precious gemstones.   Pleasance Kirk has exhibited her work at the Goldsmiths' Hall and in galleries nationwide.  Her work is shown in Great Britain and abroad.
