    This is the perfect addition to the R8 or R9 - does not have the issues that have been reported on the Leica Motor Winder.
    I had both, sold the Motor Winder.  This Motor Drive makes the R8 an exquisite system. Works flawlessly.  Perfect companion to the Mint R8 I have listed!
    (I have not exhausted it by running film through the camera but it is reported that they are typically good for 20 to 30 rolls at one time)
    According to "experts"NiMH require regular discharging then charging every 30 days or so to keep them in top condition.  This is why the charger has the button to "Discharge".  Info on-line at Leitz and in manual.
