Metal Glaze polyester finishing and blending putty offers superior adhesion to steel, galvanized metal, aluminum, sanded body filler, fiberglass, most rigid to semi-rigid plastics, catalyzed primers, and sanded OEM topcoats. Blue cream hardener included. For best results, clean, degrease and dry the surface. Use 80–180 grit to remove or scuff the paint and featheredge. Knead the hardener before using. Add the hardener 2% by weight (add a ribbon of cream hardener from edge to edge across the center of a 4" diameter puddle). Approximate setting time is 4–5 minutes at 72°F (22°C). Apply in layers with firm pressure. Do not apply all at once. Allow 20 minutes to dry, then sand with 180 grit. Final sand with 180 grit and follow it with 220–330 grit, if desired. For best results, apply 2K polyester, 2K urethane, 2K epoxy, or 1K primer. Evercoat leads the industry in the use of “green” technology.
