Oil changed every 3000 miles since I’ve owned it. Only ran full synthetic 5W-30, last 3 oil changes I've used LiquiMoly.
Very fun to drive car. Beats V6 mustangs from a red light, even with A/C on. Best mileage I've got was 450-480 miles on a full tank, which is 14.5 gal.
~200 hp 2ZZ-GE with 6speed manual and 8400rpm limit, same as found in Lotus Elise and Exige.
Many things fixed/replaced. Way too many.
Big bass 350$ JBL front component speakers. Kenwood bluetooth/cd/usb radio. Rear alpine speakers.
Short shifter.
Exedy clutch stage 2, Fidanza lightweight flywheel
Energy Suspension front and rear motor mount bushings.
EBC brakes: front and rear redstuff pads, GD front rotors, USR rear rotors.
Reupholstered front seats in black vinyl with blue stitches and steering wheel in black alcantara with blue stitches and blue center piece, as well as alcantara shift boot with blue stitches. Carbon fiber instrument cluster bezel.
Ceramic coated windshield.
Ceramic coated OZ Racing Superturismo WRC rims with no stratches.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Season 225/40R17 front tires
Bridgestone Turanza same size rear tires.
Blew engine in 2018 and 127k miles due to oh so common oil pump failure. Thought i maintained it good enough and i'd be better off than hundreds of owners with oil pumps failing at around 120k miles. Nope. Changed the engine to 55k mile one, installed a brand new oil pump and lift bolts, timing chain guides, spark plugs, all intake/exhaust gaskets, water pump. Oil pump at 15k now, engine at 70k.
Glass sunroof, instead of plastic that the car came with. Actually my first purchase after i got the car, plastic one was cracked.
One piece key with working key fob.
Mishimoto weighted shift knob.
Denso A/C compressor, condenser, evaporator and expansion valve installed last year.
Radiator replaced in 2019.
Trunk weather seal, trunk mounted stop light and a ton of other small parts replaced in 2017 when i've painted the car.
Crank pulley has been replaced in 2018 or 2019.
Rebuilt rack&pinion in 2017, new inner and outer tie rods replaced this year when i've installed Michelins.
Passenger side CV axle replaced in 2018 with lower ball joints, upper strut mounts and sway bar links.
Ashtray console replaced in 2016.
Belt tensioner with belt replaced in 2016. They have ~30K on them. Belt is still in perfect condition.
Floor mats have been replaced.
90% of parts installed were dealer or denso parts. The list isn't full as I've never kept the list and this is just off my head. I think this is 1/2 or a bit more of what I've fixed/replaced.
Stock exhaust, stock suspension. Only mods are clutch with a flywheel, motor mount bushings, rims and interior.
I still have oem shift knob, replaced due to wear on alcantara and blue leather. Also, I still have original shifter and shifter assy bushings.
Trunk is big enough to fit 65” TV in box.
Has original service book.
Has spare tire and all the tools.
Cons - paint isn't perfect. Last picture shows a dent from a coconut that fell on the car 4 months after I've painted it.
Rear tires will need to be replaced soon.
Timing cover gasket is leaking. I've got a new one from dealer with a front main seal on Monday, trying to find time to replace them. Will fix this before selling the car.
The car has been my daily for 5 years. I've invested over 13000$ over the years in the car just in parts alone, since I'm an ASE Certified Mechanic and fix everything myself. Only selling due to moving and i don't want to pay import taxes and shipping on a car. Actually never thought I'd be selling it. Hands down the best car I've ever owned. I do not regret a single penny I've spent on it.
